I was recently asked about my mantra of keeping my mornings fresh and cheerful. After laughing for a minute about it, I started thinking about those times when I woke up at 9 in the morning to miss the first and the second alarm, the office bus, the bed tea, the breakfast, the Halley’s Comet, and the holocaust… Erm… In short, my mornings were mostly not even close to being cheerful. It was rather a prelude to an even gloomier day I’m going to have myself or make it for the others.

But then I realized the importance of having a good start to a day, (if you think I’m going to preach like one of those TV ads, you’re probably right), and made some amends to change the way I wake up. My alarm got peppier (from the usual Samsung ringtone to ‘I wanna be’ by Bryan Adams), my breakfast got healthier (Or tastier as the Diet Nazis would put it), and I started making those small to do lists to be finished before afternoon. It might seem small, but these activities can actually make a big difference to the way you start your day.

And in comes the big question, am I there yet? That’s what I asked myself when I saw the #Colgate360GoldMornings campaign. The campaign is simple, to tell others how to convert your mornings into Gold mornings. And the answer to that question was, no. I was still not in the situation where the mornings are the best part of my day. Now would be the time I say that I’m not a morning person, but then again, I’m not an evening or night person either. Is bed person a thing?

So what else can one do to make his mornings better, or Gold mornings, as they say? Waking up next to your hot partner is one solution, I know, but that’s not an option for most of us, don’t you think. So what else? If you’re already done with alarm and breakfast regime that I mentioned, may I suggest Greenday? I mean, once you hit the playlist and start with the ‘Boulevard of Broken dreams’, there’s pretty much nothing that can get you down from that high.

Oh, and one more thing would be to revolutionize the way you spend your morning. Like changing your toothbrush to Colgate 360 Charcoal Gold? And trust me, I’m not just advertising here, look at this wonderful proof that I have which is making my Gold mornings everyday!

Now would be the time you tell me the things you do. And Make sure you visit to stay updated for even more Golden mornings!

Disclaimer: This is a review post based on personal experiences.

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”

This quote by Saint Augustine is probably the best inspiration one can get to start travelling. I’m not much of a traveler, but I still love it when I get the opportunity to leave everything behind and experience the unexplored. And as I once said it in one of my previous posts, it isn’t only about travelling, you also should know what the attractions in the city you’re in are and most importantly, you need a place where you can crash in and give a perfect finishing touch to your travel experience. A good hotel stay is one of the most important and an often overlooked aspect of any holiday.

So what do you do to manage these hotel troubles? Reach the place and then look for one, or book one in advance and then reach the place? In any of the cases, there’s always a chance of ending up with a disaster. And while there are many solutions coming up every day in this ever-changing world of technology, we’re bound to like the ones that offer us the most options in the simplest ways possible.

Which brings me to StayZilla!

I came to know about StayZilla through the amazing BNLF program by Indiblogger, and haven’t been able to stop myself from appreciating them ever since. Stayzilla is essentially a one stop solution for all your stay needs. May you be a traveler who’d like the comforts and services of a multi star hotel or someone who loves the feeling of being at home, or you’re not a traveler but would like to help one by renting your place, StayZilla has got it covered for you.

What I liked the most about the app was the peppy interface, which is something many apps have tried recently, but very few manage to get it right.

Let’s say that you want to travel to Mumbai and need a perfect place to stay. All you need to do is to download the StayZilla App from here (Stayzilla on Google Play | Stayzilla on the App Store), choose what you want to do (Host or guest), enter the basic details and your location and voila… you have a plethora of options on your screen. And there are pictures and reviews to make your job easier too!

There is a chat option too, so if you’re facing any trouble, the customer care is right there; no need to dial any numbers and wait in queues.

Although there were a few things that I didn’t like, for instance, no clear option to go back and change my preference as a Host or a Guest once I logged in, no clear help available in the app apart from the customer care chat option and the absence of a make suggestion option, I believe that what is a good product without a scope of improvement. So let this blog post serve as a suggestive one too, rather than just being an appreciative account 🙂

To bring this to an end, let me show you this video:

Oh, and for all my readers who are already cursing me for not posting for so long, kindly bear with me for one more week. There’s a lot in store for the month of November 😀

So stay happy, keep travelling, and use stayzilla.

Before I begin, let me wish all the readers out there a very happy girl child day. Thanks to many people’s wondrous habit of female foeticide, we don’t have a lot of women in our country compared to the male population, respecting them shouldn’t be a big deal, right? Just think about it, while I talk about the subject this post is about. So the Valentines week is near. People fall in and out of love and spend a good amount of time desperately trying to get into and then maintaining relationships every day, this is the week where we kind of get a license to do it. Now that line might have made it look like I hate this whole concept… but I don’t. I just had to say something offensive in the beginning, I learned that in the writing class I’ve been taking. Remind me to ask for my money back.

Although being an engineer, talking about love doesn’t really suit me, but the readers of this blog would know, that is pretty much all I had when I started. Love has multiple stages from the time it begins to the time it grows full-fledged inside you… kind of like cancer… just that the latter might have a cure we’re yet to find. If you have passed out of college, you probably have already experienced those thoughts about your crush that take you to an entirely different world… that one look that gives you the chills and a touch that puts butterflies in your stomach. The first time you dare to ask him/her out and every moment till you get the answer seems like a thousand years. It has happened to almost every one of us. Many succeed and many don’t, it’s like the circle of life. So, what exactly should one do? Close up, the well-known brand put many people to this task where they have to explain how they would propose their crush on the Valentine’s Day. And here I am, sharing my thoughts on this.

Since we live in a tech savvy world, getting someone’s number is not a big deal anymore. And so isn’t proposing someone on phone. And just to be clear, my earlier post 5 ways to ask her out was a joke post, so please don’t try chasing her with a dog, using cow tails or anything like that as well. Here’s what I think I’d do.

First logical step would be to get a hint, at least be half sure that she’ll like you back. This goes for girls too, although there’s barely any chance a guy would say no if you showed enough courage of asking him out, a girl making the first move, that’s pure gold! Next step is to start on the right foot, figuratively. If you’re already in good terms with here, go out for a movie, probably the one you know she’ll like for sure, like any Leo Dicaprio movie. If you don’t know her very well, I’d still suggest the movie, just let her choose. In my view, Coffee is too obvious, Malls are too full and Parks are too cheesy, hence the movie. Once you’re out of the movie you could go for a coffee, or a pizza, yes, pizza!! Erm… back to normal… What happens after that is probably what will be the decisive factor. Insist on taking a walk, maybe a short one, but do it. Here comes the important part, depending on how bold you can get. There could be a thousand things one can do at this moment.

Walking her through a road where you’ve already put sign boards asking her out, this time as your date… Getting a card delivered that contains your proposal, when the waiter brings the bill, seeing her expressions reading the card could be the finest moments of your life till that time… If you don’t mind involving people, making a toast also sounds like a great idea, of course you have to be an avid risk taker for that, but hey, high risk, high returns! One way that I really like is this… it’s not too bold, involves a backpack and a lot of flowers. You need to make sure that you got her favorite flowers. Now on the walk that you’re taking, make up an excuse to give her the first flower… as you continue walking, take out the second… and after a few steps, the third… Sounds creepy but after the second flower it starts becoming fun… After a number of flowers, say 10, give the eleventh one with the question that you’ve been dying to ask. There’s a very good chance it will be a yes, and with her hands filled with flowers, you at least won’t get slapped even if that’s a no! It will be even better if flowers are combined with her favorite chocolates.

Hands down, this has to be the cheesiest post ever on the blog. I can already see the female following of the blog running away. As much as I made sure that at no point I involve my personal relationship status or my history of crushes interfere with the ideas in the post, the last one would be my way of doing it. Not to mention that this will just be a beginning 😉

I believe technology is the second best thing for the mankind, right after Mom’s home-cooked food. It lets us do things in a blink of an eye, technology, not the food. But to want more is being human.

Sometimes I like to hang out with my friends just to catch up with what’s going on in their lives. Those are the times when I don’t want to worry about my life’s problems or the regular work. Sometimes, I’d just have a pizza in peace. And let’s not even talk about the time when the Football world cup is going on. But the thing with life is that it is ruthless. No matter who you’re talking to, your phone could just run out of prepaid balance, your internet may go down, your phone or laptop battery may get discharged, your DTH connection may be interrupted… the list is just unending.

So the point here is, after all that I am getting through this amazingly advanced technology, why do I feel I am losing on so much? The answer seems to be simple… ‘Because just having a smartphone or a laptop does not mean you have the best technology with you’. Behold, in comes Asus T100!

Now I never tell people how much I am in love with internet. Well, ok sometimes I do. But just imagine its power. You can pay your bills, watch your favorite match, stay abreast with the news, chat with your family and friends and a lot more things, all while eating a pizza! You’re feeling hungry? I am sure there’s an app for that. Feeling bored? Voila, app for that too. (That’s why Mom’s homemade food precedes technology. There’s no app for that 😦  ).

But no matter how great the software is, how speedy the internet is, there’s no point if you have to sit at a fixed place to use it or the hardware is just not good enough. With tech savvy and erm… Crazy people like me, you just need to have the best thing possible. Talking about the best, how about something with a small size that you can carry anywhere, compatibility with the best of windows, a battery that will run longer than you can imagine, speed that you’ll feel proud of and wait for it, a feature of conversions as per your wish… yep, a laptop, no, a tab? You got it! It really is Ultraportable!

You wouldn’t want that now, would you? GO OUT! Your tablet will stay with you.

I am a 23-year-old blogger who works in the IT industry, loves football and lives away from his family. So no matter where I am, I want to stay connected so that I can chat with my friends anytime, pay my bills, write immediately whenever an idea comes to my mind, make sure my favorite match moments aren’t missed and obviously, I need that all without the constant thought of running out of battery. And that’s what keeps me hooked to my favorite devices. May it be a phone or a laptop. But alas, they all have their limitations, which, let’s face it, none of us likes.

A gadget like the Asus T100 would be a boon for me. With its powerful processor and hulk sized battery, I am sure I’ll not have the power problem. Its portability options give me the chance to take it on the go wherever I want and still stay connected, not to mention its Office, Entertainment and internet options give me a range of things I can do. I am assuming when I have my hands on it, Mom’s food will be the only thing left that I’d miss. I wish Asus could do something about that too. But hey, I’ll video chat with her and learn how to cook, for as long as I want! I mean, it’s not like the battery is going anywhere… or I need to care about the bulky size and not take it to the kitchen! It’s slimmer than Scarlet Johansson for crying out loud!

I heard about it and the idea of this post came to my mind. One thing is for sure, I am definitely going to try this amazing master-piece of Asus. In case you’re intrigued, don’t hold it, go directly to this ( ) and take a look, trust me, you wouldn’t be disappointed, to say the least. Although I don’t take any guarantee of heart racing or skipping a beat. Here’s a pic of this stunner.

Isn’t that beautiful?
